## About the Role

* Advanced experience working with massive, complex data sets within large-scale modernization efforts.
 * Experience analyzing data to architect solutions for complex business problems (e.g., Master Data Management, Identity Resolution, or Semantic Modeling).
 * Proficiency in navigating and untangling legacy healthcare data ecosystems.
 * Experience defending technical approaches and troubleshooting issues directly with senior and executive leadership.
 * Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

 * Advanced in SQL, Python/PySpark, Databricks, and modern Cloud data architectures.
 * Hands-on experience with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j) and/or NoSQL Document Stores (e.g., MongoDB).
 * Expertise in data mastering, probabilistic matching algorithms, and enterprise data governance.
 * Deep knowledge of Healthcare Provider Data: Demographics, Contractual Data, and Clinical Networks

## Description

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer describes the tools, applications and practices used to analyze an organization's raw data to create insightful and applicable business information. Begin to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments., To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
