Experience operating a scissor lift for installations, ip cameras, Cat5, Cat6, idfs, Install, Cabling, cctv systems, Punchdown, Low voltage, Cable installation, cctv, Structured cabling, Installation, 2+ years experience in low-voltage or structured cabling environments Strong hands-on experience with: CAT5e/CAT6 cabling Termination and testing Retail or commercial environments Familiarity with IP security camera installations (Axis experience preferred) Ability to read and follow installation scopes, shot guides, and diagrams Comfortable working in IDFs and ladder/lift environments Basic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshooting Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to travel 100% nationwide for extended periods Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain productivity Preferred Qualifications Axis camera installation experience Fluke certification or strong testing experience Conduit bending or light electrical/EMT experience Previous big-box retail rollout experience (Lowe's, Walmart, etc.) Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ticketing/documentation systems ## Description Operations ServiceNow, IP Cameras Low Voltage Coordinating Detail Oriented Help Desk Support Business Valuation Category 6 Cabling Category 5 Cabling Structured Cabling Aerial Work Platforms Full Stack Development Valid Driver's License Artificial Intelligence Network Troubleshooting Business Transformation Electrical Metallic Tubing Internet Protocol Security (IP SEC) Closed-Circuit Television Systems (CCTV), We are seeking experienced Traveling Cable / Low-Voltage Technicians to support a large-scale retail security camera rollout. This role involves nationwide travel, working as part of a team to install, cable, test, and validate IP camera systems according to strict installation and field-of-view (FOV) requirements. Technicians will be responsible for complete end-to-end installation activities, including structured cabling, hardware mounting, camera configuration support, validation, and documentation. Key Responsibilities Install Axis IP security cameras per approved scope (approximately 35-38 cameras per site) Perform structured cabling (CAT5e/CAT6) from cameras to IDFs Terminate, label, and organize cabling in IDFs and camera locations Test and certify cabling using industry-standard testing equipment (Fluke preferred) Mount camera hardware using appropriate solutions including: Unistrut Conduit Surface and ceiling mounts Verify network connectivity to required IDFs Support camera configuration verification and firmware checks (in coordination with Help Desk) Assist with Field-of-View (FOV) validation to ensure cameras align with shot guide requirements Make physical camera adjustments as requested by the client AP team Return to sites as needed for follow-up adjustments or corrections Capture and upload required deliverables: Camera images Test results Validation documentation Upload documentation into ServiceNow, Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support parts of our hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates.
