Knowledge Skills / Requirements: + Siemens NX, Capital, Teamcenter + PTC Creo, RSD + Working knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems, including analog and digital electronics, networking technologies, and data communications. + Familiarity with Ethernet, TCP/IP networking, fiber-optic systems, video distribution systems, and aircraft data buses. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, installation data, schematics, and technical documentation. + Understanding of aerospace regulations, certification requirements, and industry standards, including FAA, EASA, and ATA requirements. + Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause investigation skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and highly technical environment. + Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface professionally with customers, OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. + Proficiency with engineering and productivity software tools. + Familiarity with aircraft test equipment, diagnostic tools, and system validation methodologies. + Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications + Experience supporting Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft programs. + Knowledge of aircraft interiors, cabin systems, connectivity solutions, and IFEC products. + Familiarity with aircraft production environments, Final Assembly Line (FAL) operations, and aircraft delivery processes. + Experience with systems engineering methodologies, requirements management, and verification/validation activities. + Knowledge of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence applications, digital transformation initiatives, and data analytics tools within aerospace engineering environments. ## Description The System Integration Engineer II is responsible for supporting the integration, installation, validation, and delivery of In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems on commercial aircraft platforms. This role serves as a key technical liaison between Panasonic Avionics, aircraft manufacturers (OEMs), airline customers, and suppliers throughout the aircraft production and delivery lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to electrical, mechanical, systems, and aircraft integration activities, provide technical troubleshooting and resolution support, ensure compliance with engineering requirements and regulatory standards, and help drive successful aircraft deliveries while maintaining strong customer relationships.
