Technical Skills: * Strong scripting skills in Python or TypeScript for automation. Education: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience., * AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Database Specialty, or DevOps). * Experience with AWS Lambda for serverless automation. * Familiarity with database migration tools and strategies. * Knowledge of GitOps workflows and declarative configuration management. * Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenSearch). * Background in traditional DBA work with a transition to cloud and automation. Work Environment This position is open to remote candidates, but local candidates are preferred. The role requires the ability to travel for onsite meetings approximately once per quarter. An in-person interview is required. ## Description Our organization is seeking a Cloud Database Reliability Engineer to design, build, and evolve automated database infrastructure for a cloud-native enterprise platform supporting mission-critical applications. In this role, you will work with a team to create self-service tooling and reusable infrastructure.
