## Description

Join the Wi-Fi Firmware development team and be part of an outstanding team of engineers driving innovation on products used by millions worldwide. Our team is looking for a highly motivated Wi-Fi Firmware Engineer to drive the implementation and optimization of FW/SW design for Apple's latest products, including next generation of iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, Mac and more., Be a key member of the Wi-Fi Firmware development team, where you will work on FW/SW design, integration, testing and optimization from early prototypes until productization. The work involves documenting requirements, design documentation, FW implementation, performance evaluation on SW/HW prototypes, analyzing logs, and pushing features through the build process into released SW. Engineers will be working with extended teams in the system, HW, and PHY teams to complete joint effort features.

Responsibilities

Develop firmware code for Apple's Wi-Fi chip sets

Design / code / integrate code in C/C++ for Wi-Fi based algorithms to implement the 802.11 protocol

Work with test teams to validate the developed features

Follow release process for pushing features from concept to release candidates

Debug issues from the field examining logs, and over the air logs
