This role provides advanced engineering, operations, and automation support across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), multi cloud ACI environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS), and DIS enterprise services including Internet Messaging, DNS, and security driven infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in RHEL, automation at scale (Ansible/Tower/AAP, Satellite), cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and federal security compliance requirements. This position is located in our Baltimore, MD office with work performed at client site in Woodlawn, MD Your future duties and responsibilities: . Administer, harden, and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9+) systems for DIS operational environments. . Build and maintain Ansible/Tower/AAP automation for OS configuration, patching, deployments, network/storage tasks, and cloud infrastructure provisioning. . Operate and support DIS Internet Messaging platforms (Sendmail/Postfix, SMTP Auth, LDAP sync), including YAML/Ansible based server provisioning and Splunk log/report automation. . Manage UNIX/BIND DNS zones, automate zone maintenance, integrate with AD DNS, and ensure compliance with SSA security and change management processes. . Support and operate OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS clusters, including deployment of OCI compliant base images, namespace administration, and containerized application support. . Provide multi cloud ACI operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP-compute, storage, networking, AMIs, IAM, encryption, monitoring, and DR/failover design. . Implement and support security operations including ATO documentation, POA&M tracking, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, event logging, and incident response. . Maintain Red Hat Satellite for patching, inventory, and configuration compliance. .
