Description of Project The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT) partnering with the Department of Corrections, is seeking a Database Developer to assist in the design and maintenance of various databases, develop and optimize ETL pipelines and workflows, develop and optimize SQL scripts and stored procedures to support data conversion, validation, and ongoing processing needs. The Database Developer will develop stored procedures, views, SQL scripts, and other database components supporting transactional and reporting systems. The Database Developer will also execute large-scale data migrations, including cleansing, validation, and transformation across enterprise systems, build data ingestion and transformation workflows across raw, staging, curated, and analytics layers, maintain various reporting solutions using SSRS and Power BI, and Design and implement logical and physical data models (ERDs) for various applications. The Database Developer will also provide production support, including troubleshooting performance issues and on-call support and collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies, development activities, code reviews, and release cycles. At a high level, the resource will develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise database solutions and will support data integration, conversion, migration, reporting, and database performance while ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of enterprise data. The resource will also provide production support and collaborate with cross-functional project teams throughout the system development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
