Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure., * Must have or obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority* Must be at least 18 years old, Minimum* Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments* Weekend availability* Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills* Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations* Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting Preferred* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs) * Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break* Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping* Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping Education & Experience Minimum* High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred* 1+ Year of Verifiable Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience* 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience, High School Diploma or equivalent ## Description At the core of Security Engineers, we have a team of trained and professional Security Officers who serve as the backbone of our operations.
