## About the Role

Our Government client located in Long Island City, NY is seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join a technology team supporting enterprise applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer looking to grow their experience with Microsoft technologies while contributing to projects that support large-scale data modernization and digital transformation initiatives., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

 * Approximately 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
 * Experience with one or more programming languages such as:
 + C# / .NET
 + ASP.NET
 + Java
 + Python
 + JavaScript
 * Familiarity with software development best practices and object-oriented programming.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
 * Ability to manage priorities and meet project deadlines.
 * Experience with Microsoft technologies is a plus, and additional training will be provided.
 * Previous public sector experience is a plus but not required.

## Description

* Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers.
 * Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
 * Build applications using C#, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
 * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to improve application performance and reliability.
 * Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
 * Learn and apply modern development practices and emerging Microsoft technologies.
 * Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
 * Stay current with evolving .NET frameworks and software development best practices.
