The role combines hands-on field leadership with technical decision-making authority across equipment selection, deployment strategies, and data quality assurance, working in close collaboration with project scientists, project managers, and commercial teams. This position serves as CSA's lead specialist for mooring-based metocean operations, providing subject-matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle-from proposal development and operational planning through deployment execution, data processing, and final reporting. The role is accountable for ensuring that field operations and data workflows are scientifically defensible, operationally efficient, safe, and aligned with contractual and client expectations.
