 * Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)
 * Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
 * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret clearance required.

## Description

This position is for a Senior Network Engineer to support our client in Washington DC. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security., * Design and implement network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks

 * Manage and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
 * Ensure network security through implementation of access controls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security protocols
 * Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain optimal performance
 * Collaborate with other IT teams to support application and system requirements
 * Document network designs, configurations, and procedures
