## About the Role

* 1+ years of Network Engineering experience (i.e. design, implementation, troubleshooting of complex network infrastructure)
 * Familiarity with designing LAN, WAN, and data center networks
 * Knowledge of OSI, TCP/IP Models, Layer 2/3 technologies (VLAN, OSPF, BGP)
 * Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware
 * Understanding of advanced DNS concepts
 * Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:

 * Active CCNA (or higher) Cisco certification
 * Familiarity with one or more of the following: DISA STIGs, COMSEC, and/or TACLANEs
 * Strong network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
 * Functional understanding of Splunk for data collection, real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
 * Implementation and configuration of firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
 * Understanding of virtualization technologies i.e. VMware, vSAN
 * Experience with Cloud Networking Infrastructure
 * Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible
 * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile / Scrum environment
 * Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
 * Familiarity with installation and configuration of Big-IP (F5)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret, Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

## Description

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a passionate and dedicated Network Engineer to support military Space Programs. This position receives day-to-day operations guidance from program staff and will report to the LM IS SWFLANT IT OPS Manager., * Designing, implementing, and maintaining our server infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components

 * Ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our network devices and data
 * Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications
 * Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
 * Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve our server infrastructure
 * US Citizenship required at this facility
