Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # District Data Management and Accountability Coordinator (Exempt Position) - **Company:** Independence, Inc. - **Location:** Independence, OH, United States - **Salary:** $60,000.0 - $75,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Software Applications, Spreadsheets, Databases, Text Processing, Google Docs, Student Information Systems, Software Requirements Analysis, Information Technology, Data Management - **Published:** July 16, 2026 - **Apply:** https://k12jobspot.com/Job/5628787 ## About the Role * Must have specific knowledge and experience with EMIS reporting * Must be absolutely meticulous when it comes to data accuracy and management * Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines * Must have strong communication and organization skills * Must possess computer technology competencies and knowledge of state software applications (EMIS, USPS) * Must maintain confidentiality with sensitive staff and student data * Must be able to analyze and present data using various software applications, including databases, spreadsheets (Excel, Access, Text Editor, Google Docs) * Must be able to collaborate with colleagues in a personal and professional manner * Must be willing to attend local, regional, and statewide trainings, meetings, and conferences to stay current in reporting regulations and effectively communicate changes to district staff, and be willing to make necessary state and local contacts to ensure compliance with EMIS guidelines * Must be flexible and willing to adjust practice and procedure as changes occur in EMIS reporting and district software requirements ## Description * Directs the delivery and continuous improvement of the educational management information systems (EMIS) for student and staff data, ensuring both complete and accurate submissions * Provide support for district student information software (ProgressBook, GradeBook, ParentAccess) * Manage district use of online registration software (SchoolMessenger/SafeArrival), working closely with district staff and FinalForms personnel in collecting all required student information for new enrollments and updated student information for all students each school year (back-to-school demographics, emergency contacts, and agreements) * Manage district use of electronic communication software (FinalForms), ensuring proper setup within student software (ProgressBook).
