It's a plus if you also have: * Experience improving app reliability, load performance, or crash metrics in large-scale Android apps. * Exposure to Firebase or similar authentication frameworks, and subscription-oriented flows. * Proficiency applying agentic / AI coding tools to Android development is a big plus. ## Description As a Senior Android Engineer on the Fable team, you'll help shape the future of reading, working on Fable, a successful app that helps people build a reading habit, find their next book, and connect with other readers. Fable is a top 5 app in the Books category of the App Store with a growing, vibrant community. You'll play a lead role in developing Fable for Android, planning and developing features across all parts of the app. As Fable's lead Android engineer, you'll drive the architectural roadmap, planning and executing on performance and stability enhancements. We value ownership of the product from end to end, bringing creativity and energy to building great experiences for the Fable community, and delighting our users with both aesthetics and utility.
