Some ways to obtain the relevant education and experience: + Possession of a valid Vocational Nurse, Registered Nurse, or other healthcare license. + Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. + Formal training and/or knowledge in the healthcare field. + High school degree or higher; + Knowledge of Microsoft Office based programs; + Effective oral and written communication techniques; + Ability to learn and operate specialized computer equipment and software; + Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff; * Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment. Applications will be evaluated taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, experience, skills, knowledge and abilities. ## Description This is a temporary part-time, professional expert position subject to availability of funding Provide the technical expertise to support the use of simulation in the nursing program. Responsible for preparing, operating, and maintaining skills lab equipment, media, computers, task trainers, IV simulators, mannequin-based simulators, and materials related to simulation learning and virtual hospital. Provide support to the Skills/Simulation Coordinator, answer student and faculty questions and assist them with simulation work. Assist in the preparation for nursing lab or simulation clinical experiences. Contribute to the design, upgrade, development, testing, implementation and feedback of simulation training materials and scenarios.
