## Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
Job Responsibilities:

 * Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for defense and electronic warfare systems within the SPIN/MUEU lab environment
 * Write clean, maintainable, and efficient C++ code following object-oriented design principles and best practices
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software design documents (SDD), interface control documents (ICD), test plans, procedures and perform code reviews
 * Debug and troubleshoot complex hardware/software integration issues in a lab setting
 * Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and government customers to define and refine software requirements
 * Support software configuration management and version control processes
 * Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), and program milestone events
