Experience building modern web applications. Working knowledge of Python. Portfolio demonstrating websites and/or applications you've built or significantly contributed to Candidate Requirements: Must-Have Hard Skills: 1. Python Familiarity with Python in a web development capacity 2. Web Application Development 3. Portfolio of web applications 4. Good sense of UI/UX (Create clean layouts, realistic interfaces, polished interactions & visually convincing applications) Nice-to-Have Skills: 1. Familiarity with AI familiarity or interest in AI research is a plus 2. Design is a plus, beautiful app that mimic great UI 3. Previous companies: A small design consultancy firm, somewhere you need to bootstrap the app. smaller shops where they have to be independent and scrappy, rather than big tech, as they shouldn t rely on big company infrastructure. ## Description We're seeking experienced Software Engineer with a background in building web apps with experience in Python to help us build the next generation of computer-use agents [AI] Your role will be to grow our app simulation pipeline for training and evaluating computer-use agents. You'll be contributing to the frontiers of AI agent research. As an experienced web app developer, you'll be responsible for scaling our app simulation framework to train the next generation of computer-use agents. You'll be responsible for designing and extending apps in our simulation framework in partnership with researchers at FAIR. You'll also have the chance to contribute to the infrastructure powering the next generation of AI agents. An interest in AI systems, contributing to the latest research, and expertise in engineering web-based apps are required. Broadly there are two skillsets we're targeting: [should be very strong in either 1 or 2] 1. Python expertise (many existing resumes lack this), work with data pipelines, and backend web development 2. Front-end designer profile with openly available portfolios of their work as well as some experience with Python.
