## About the Role

+ Sr. Principal (level 4): Bachelor's degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience; 6+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

 + **An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required at time of application.**

 + Experience debugging and solving problems when things do not work out of the box

 + Experience working in a cross-functional agile team

 + Familiarly working in a Linux environment

 + Having a basic understanding of java

 + Experience building and maintaining configuration management documentation

 + Experience in hardware/software integration

 + Experience in hardware command protocols (SNMP, GEMS, as examples)

## Description

We are seeking experienced Software Integrators to join our team and contribute to the managing complex, company systems and multi-vendor IT environments to ensure system interoperability. This role will require the selected candidate to connect different hardware, software, and networking, into a single, cohesive, and functional, optimized, and secure system. Our Software Integrators act as consultants, designers, and builders, analyzing internal and customer needs to integrate disparate subsystems for better performance and efficiency., A solid grasp of systems integration lifecycle and best practices is critical, including testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). The Software Integrator will work within an Agile team supporting multiple software and hardware products/baselines, prioritizing enhancements, and managing tasks efficiently to ensure smooth delivery of an integrated baseline/system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of system level software and hardware architecture, how software and hardware components interact within complex systems, and how to translate customer needs into actionable development tasks.
