## About the Role

+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant prior experience in MBSE

 + Experience with systems, mechanical, or electrical design and analysis tools

 + Experience with requirements development and management

 + Experience with Cameo/MagicDraw/Teamwork Cloud and SysML modeling

 + Experience with MagicGrid methodology and framework

 + Experience developing products in various product development lifecycles including agile and waterfall

Qualifications We Prefer

 + Familiarity with digital twin concepts

 + Familiarity in integrating COTS solutions

 + Familiarity with Syndeia (semantic broker) by Intercax

 + Familiarity with Product Line Engineering (PLE) and applying concepts to a SysML model

 + Familiarity in digital ecosystems and data connectivity via digital threads

 + Familiarity with data visualization tools including Power BI, Kibana, and/or Grafana

 + Exposure to MBSE starting point models and MBSE Digital Engineering Environments

 + Ability to prepare and present status, plans, and risks to management

 + OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP)

 + INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP)

 + Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

## Description

The Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) Engagements Subject Matter Expert (SME) will drive the implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions at Raytheon. You will collaborate with the Raytheon Systems Engineering solution development teams to implement Model Based Engineering (MBE) capabilities and practices as part of the standard Raytheon Digital Engineering Ecosystem. You come to this role with a strong background in hardware product development combined with experience in MBSE, MBE, and Model-Based Product Line Engineering (MBPLE). This is an onsite role located in **Tewksbury, MA, Marlborough, MA, Woburn, MA, or Aurora, CO.**

What You Will Do

 + Drive Systems Engineering processes on your engagements

 + Create and validate MBSE models including Stakeholder Needs/Requirements; Behavioral Diagrams; Structural Diagrams; Measures of effectiveness/technical performance measures

 + Support the development of connectivity between MBSE tools and other hardware design/analysis tools

 + Create specifications, interface descriptions, execute trade studies and analyses
