The Payloads Organization within Boeing Commercial Aircraft is seeking Structures and Payload Design Engineers (Associate) in Everett or Renton, WA to support our SeatsIntegration Team (SIT). Seat Engineers are responsible for managing the installation, integration, and certification of multiple development passenger seat programs into our Boeing aircraft by overseeing supplier seat designs to ensure all customer, regulatory, and Boeing requirements are met. Success in this role, requires extensive coordination with Customer Engineering, Payload Configuration, Supplier Management, Seat Suppliers, Airline Customers, numerous interfacing program commodity teams, regulatory administration, FAA, and factory personnel. In addition, a strong engineering foundation is required to review and approve supplier technical data, understand certification test requirements, prepare engineering releases to support seat and systems installations, author and release compliance summary reports. Domestic and International travel is required for this role.
