## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
 * 5+ years of application development and software engineering experience.
 * 2+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular or similar modern front-end frameworks.
 * 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
 * Experience using build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
 * Experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs and distributed services.
 * Experience delivering software solutions that align with established design principles and business objectives.
 * Experience participating in engineering best practices, including code reviews, service discovery, testing, and environment management.
 * Experience working with relational database technologies.
 * Experience using source code management tools such as GitHub.
 * Ability to support production environments, including participation in on-call support as needed.
 * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, communicate technical concepts clearly, and incorporate feedback in a team-oriented environment.
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions., * Experience within the Financial Services industry.
 * Experience incorporating quality engineering and test automation practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
 * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Bamboo, or similar platforms.
 * Experience working with cloud-based environments, including private cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
 * Experience leveraging AI-enabled development tools, engineering automation, or productivity-enhancing technologies.
 * Experience mentoring or coaching junior engineers and contributing to team development.
