Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. May work outdoors in inclement weather. May require physical mobility to move through a school campus, including up and down stairs and inside and outside. ## Description The position of Technology Specialist is performed for the purposing of supporting school based technology use by students and staff in support of the District's Instructional Initiatives. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.) * Sets up and assists with set up of computers and related equipment in an assigned school; loads and upgrades software. * Configures and installs computers in both stand-alone and networked environments. * Conducts first line troubleshooting of computers and peripherals for staff and students. * Maintains building inventory of computers, software, peripherals and related equipment and materials. Conducts annual physical inventory and maintains database of inventory and equipment repairs.
