## About the Role

* 2-year technology degree or equivalent preferred, not required
 * 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
 * Line of business experience preferred
 * A programming background;
 * Able to work with people at different levels;
 * Self-managed, good with handling multiple projects;
 * Some IT background - infrastructure would be good, software is not necessary;
 * Not sure how you quantify this, but I need someone with grit (this assignment will be a challenge, he/she will be supported and join a good team, but this person needs to be able to push and make things happen).
 * Specific application experience is not required but nice to have. Applications we work with: Windows OS, SAP, the main system will be a shopfloor management application.

## Description

* Work and collaborate with users, engineering, and support teams to set up and maintain workflows
 * Work and collaborate with Production Data Analyst to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
 * Train new and existing users
 * Partner with IT to ensure system configuration and uptime
 * Implement methodologies and processes for reporting performance metrics
 * Collaborate with users, engineering, IT, and MES vendor on improving operational performance
 * Guide users in defining requirements for added features, problem resolution and proper application utilization
 * Develop and implement process improvements by actively participating on cross functional teams
 * Identify opportunities to optimize and integrate isolated systems and/or automate existing processes for efficiency
 * Be a part of short- and long-term projects to implement process improvements and efficiencies
 * Work with MES vendor on updates, upgrades and new tool configuration
 * Perform testing to ensure developmental needs meet functional requirements
 * Formulate and maintain MES procedures and documentation
 * Stay abreast of current information and developments concerning MES
