## About the Role

We are seeking a talented test engineer with a Mechanical or Test Engineering background to support a major US Air Force Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of component, subsystem, and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. A strong candidate will possess at least 2+ years related experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplined team environment and directly support our nation's war fighters.  * Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years related experience (Level III).
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 * Experience in system-level and mechanical structure testing for defense or aerospace programs
 * Familiarity with MIL-STD standards (MIL-STD 810 or SMC-S-016)
 * Knowledge and/or experience using electrical/mechanical test instrumentation is a plus
 * Must be able to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance; Active Secret clearance preferred
 * Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills

## Description

* Plan, coordinate, and schedule test and evaluation activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards
 * Prepare and/or review test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews, and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests
 * Support in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of data acquisition systems, accelerometers, strain gauges, high speed cameras, and other test instrumentation
 * Support test activities including product installation, integration, test, data acquisition, and analysis
 * Perform preliminary "quick look" analysis and provide post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers
 * Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering, and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting phases
 * Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills
 * 10 - 15% Travel
