## About the Role

* 4+ years of Data Engineering experience.
 * Strong healthcare data experience.
 * Advanced SQL skills.
 * Experience with dbt.
 * Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
 * Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
 * Experience working with healthcare data models.
 * Understanding of:
 + Medical Claims
 + Clinical Data
 + Revenue Cycle Data
 + Provider Data
 + Member Eligibility Data
 * Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
 * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
 * Comfortable working independently and figuring things out when there isn't a perfect playbook.

Nice to Have

 * Experience with the Tuva Data Model.
 * Experience implementing healthcare data transformation frameworks.
 * Familiarity with FHIR and HL7.
 * Experience with Epic, Cerner, Athena, Meditech, ECW, or similar healthcare systems.
 * Experience with Airflow.
 * Python experience.
 * Exposure to Population Health, Value-Based Care, Risk Adjustment, or HEDIS reporting.
 * Healthcare analytics or consulting experience.

## Description

* Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines supporting the Tuva Data Model.
 * Work with healthcare data including claims, eligibility, provider, clinical, and revenue cycle data.
 * Transform and structure raw data into clean, reliable datasets for reporting and analytics.
 * Build and maintain data models using SQL and dbt.
 * Improve data quality through testing, validation, and monitoring processes.
 * Optimize Snowflake and other cloud-based data platforms.
 * Partner with teams across the business to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable data solutions.
 * Troubleshoot data issues and improve overall platform performance.
