## About the Role

* B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
 * 5+ years of experience in air vehicle systems integration.
 * Familiarity with hypersonic missiles and military standards.
 * Proficiency with Siemens NX CAD software.
 * Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
 * U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance., * Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Teamcenter or Windchill.
 * Active Top Secret DoD clearance.
 * Experience with unmanned air vehicle (UAV) design and development.

## Description

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics and mission systems into air vehicles effectively.
 * Develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components, including large assembly model management.
 * Conduct simulations and analyses, including hand calculations and FEA (finite element analysis), to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards.
 * Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
 * Lead design reviews, perform analyses, visit vendors, and define and execute hardware test plans.
 * Support critical hardware demonstrations for customers as required.
