Priority Courier Experts operates a real-time transportation business that depends on reliable systems, accurate data, and responsive support. We are hiring a hands-on Systems & Network Administrator to work with our on-site IT team, provide technical support throughout the company, and help administer our server, network, backup, identity, endpoint, and production application environments. This role combines company-wide technical support with systems and network administration. You will share support coverage with other on-site systems administrators. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys helping people, keeping systems healthy, solving operational problems, and documenting the environment. What You Will Do * Daily operations and monitoring. Perform health checks using PRTG, Veeam, Lansweeper, and other operational tools; investigate alerts before they affect the business. * Backup, recovery, and capacity. Verify backup jobs and restores, monitor disk capacity, review Windows Update status, and help maintain a dependable disaster recovery posture. * Server and facility infrastructure. Patch and maintain Windows Servers and Hyper-V clusters; review UPS health and maintain Dell BIOS and driver repositories. * Identity, access, and core services. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and the operational aspects of Microsoft SQL Server; manage onboarding, access changes, and terminations for employees and drivers. * Network operations. Support switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, wireless networks, and related office and data-center connectivity. * Endpoint management. Deploy and support Windows workstations, Dell BIOS and driver packages, and Lansweeper deployment packages. * Provide technical support for the company. Share day-to-day coverage with the other on-site systems administrators, helping employees resolve workstation, hardware, printing, connectivity, access, and production application issues. * Support coordination and follow-through. Work with the other on-site systems administrators to triage requests, communicate status, share knowledge, and follow problems through to resolution. * Business application support. Serve as a first point of contact for CXT, DSA, NetSuite, and other production applications; troubleshoot issues and coordinate with application owners and vendors when deeper assistance is required. * Change and incident management. Test and document production changes, respond to service interruptions, communicate clearly with affected users, and participate in occasional after-hours maintenance and urgent support. * Documentation and standards. Maintain practical knowledge-base articles, network diagrams, server inventories, vendor contacts, system architecture, and disaster recovery references. What Success Looks Like * Employees receive responsive, patient support and clear updates, and open problems are followed through to resolution. * Support coverage and knowledge are shared across the on-site IT team so service does not depend on one person. * Monitoring and backup alerts are reviewed consistently, investigated promptly, and not allowed to linger. * Patching and maintenance occur on a predictable cadence with clear testing, change records, and communication. * Employee and driver onboarding and termination tasks are accurate, timely, and repeatable. * Infrastructure and support documentation are current and useful enough for another IT professional to follow., This is a full-time, on-site role based at our office in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The position works closely with employees and the other systems administrators while supporting physical infrastructure, workstations, and office operations. Occasional after-hours maintenance and urgent support are part of the role. ## Related Videos - [What makes Cybersecurity different for critical infrastructure?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/571-what-makes-cybersecurity-different-for-critical-infrastructure) - [An Applied Introduction to eBPF with Go](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1075-an-applied-introduction-to-ebpf-with-go) - [10M Data Records Lost, Underwater Computing, and Psychedelic Fish - Matthias Geniar](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1908-10m-data-records-lost-underwater-computing-and-psychedelic-fish-matthias-geniar) - [Remote Driving on Plant Grounds with State-of-the-Art Cloud Technologies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/251-remote-driving-on-plant-grounds-with-state-of-the-art-cloud-technologies) - [Turning Container security up to 11 with Capabilities](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/718-turning-container-security-up-to-11-with-capabilities) - [How to Submit CFPs and Get into Public Speaking - Moran Weber](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2112-how-to-submit-cfps-and-get-into-public-speaking-moran-weber) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Best Paying Jobs in Technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/256-best-paying-jobs-in-technology) - [Should Tech Managers Be Developers First?
