## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related STEM field
 * 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, configuration management, and Agile practices
 * 3+ years of experience in systems/software architecture, requirements, and design
 * Experience leading software development projects
 * Proficiency with version control tools (e.g., Git)
 * Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA or GitLab
 * Domain expertise in aircraft interiors, in-flight entertainment, seating, or onboard network systems
 * Strong knowledge of DO-178C and DO-254 standards (required), * 5+ years of related engineering or certification experience
 * Experience working with or as a DER, TSO Certification Specialist, or Certification Verification Engineer (CVE)
 * Knowledge of DO-330 and DO-331 standards
 * Strong background in software lifecycle data and certification processes
 * Proven ability to work across complex, cross-functional environments

## Description

* Develop and generate software components (PDIs, UMS, Field Loadable software) in compliance with DO-178B/C standards
 * Review and approve supplier software lifecycle documentation including requirements, design, and architecture
 * Oversee preparation and submission of certification documentation to FAA/EASA standards
 * Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and performance
 * Monitor project timelines to ensure on-time delivery and certification milestones
 * Lead development and maintenance of system architectures, requirements, and interfaces
 * Drive implementation of engineering processes, tools, and metrics
 * Support and lead software lifecycle activities including planning, development, verification, and certification
 * Participate in industry working groups and contribute to internal standards and best practices
