Preferred/Bonus * Experience managing production Kubernetes workloads, including logging/monitoring frameworks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry). * Handson infrastructureascode experience with Terraform, Helm, or similar tools. * Knowledge of eventdriven architectures, message brokers, or cloudnative data pipelines. * Experience working in multicloud or hybridcloud environments. * Familiarity with zerotrust security models, cloud security practices, and enclavebased deployments. * Prior experience in defense, intelligence, or missioncritical system environments. * Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Developer/Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or similar. Security Clearance * United States citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance ## Description At MTSI, you'll build and enhance enterprise catalog and metadata services that power intelligence discovery across the Air Force and Intelligence Community. Your work will modernize how analysts access, curate, search, and share mission data, enabling rapid, secure, cloudnative information flow across domains and security enclaves, directly strengthening decision advantage in contested environments. What You'll Do (DaytoDay) * Design, develop, and deploy cloudnative microservices and backend components across multicloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Build containerized services and manage Kubernetes deployments, scaling policies, service mesh configurations, and operational observability. * Implement and improve CI/CD automation, including build pipelines, automated testing, secret management, and secure deployment workflows. * Integrate cloud services with enterprise authentication, monitoring, data pipelines, and eventdriven architectures. * Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with crossfunctional teams, and contribute to design reviews and backlog refinement. * Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud workloads for reliability, security, and cost efficiency. * Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, environment configurations, and operational runbooks.
