## About the Role

* Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in technical training, product management, or customer education roles
 * Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or related scientific/technical field
 * Instructional design or adult education certifications beneficial
 * Train-the-trainer certification advantageous
 * Technical knowledge of relevant product lines (e.g., chromatography, mass spectrometry, electron microscopy)
 * Experience developing and delivering both technical and soft-skills training programs
 * Strong facilitation and presentation skills for both in-person and virtual environments
 * Proficiency in e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia, Brainshark)
 * Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
 * Project management capabilities and ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
 * Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
 * Ability to create engaging training materials and documentation
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and content creation tools
 * Experience in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotechnology) preferred
 * Ability to travel up to 30-50% as required
 * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with teams
 * Self-directed with organizational and time management abilities
 * Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial

As a Senior Customer & Technical Training Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to developing and delivering high-quality training programs that support our customers and internal teams.
