## About the Role

* Proven experience providing technical support in a help desk or IT support environment with a focus on customer service excellence.
 * Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN setup, firewall configuration, and network troubleshooting techniques.
 * Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server) and Linux platforms.
 * Proficiency in troubleshooting computer hardware components and peripherals as well as mobile devices across multiple operating systems.
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users while demonstrating analysis skills for complex problems.

## Description

S-M Enterprises is seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist for system administration support and our go-to person for all our daily tech needs. We are looking for someone to help maintain and manage our internal systems, user accounts, and network stability to prevent downtime. This would include providing hardware, software (SaaS, Operating Systems, and other internal tools), and network support for all computers, laptops, servers, and printers in our facility, along with monitoring and maintaining good security policies and procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Windows Server, Virtualization Technologies, and LAN/WAN Network Concepts would be ideal., * Deliver prompt and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows and Linux.

 * Troubleshoot equipment problems such as computer hardware failures, peripheral devices, mobile devices, and operating system malfunctions.
 * Support network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and network administration tasks.
 * Collaborate with team members on projects involving Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Windows Server environments, Microsoft Windows operating systems, and other enterprise tools to optimize performance.
 * Conduct equipment troubleshooting sessions remotely or onsite to resolve connectivity issues related to TCP/IP protocols or network hardware such as switches or routers.
