 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

 * Experience with access control, video management, CCTV, or physical security systems.
 * Knowledge of IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, switches, routers, and network troubleshooting.
 * Industry certifications or manufacturer certifications are a plus.

## Description

Securitas is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Systems Engineer 2 to join our team in Plano, TX. This position plays a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing security technology systems while ensuring reliable performance and exceptional customer service., * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical security and technology systems.

 * Support access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related security platforms.
 * Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
 * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
 * Coordinate service activities with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
 * Perform system testing, upgrades, updates, and preventative maintenance.
 * Maintain accurate documentation, system records, and service reports.
 * Assist with project implementation, commissioning, and system integration activities.
 * Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
 * Provide technical support and guidance to end users and stakeholders.
 * Participate in on-call support or after-hours activities when required.
