Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment within a quality role is required. This includes two years of experience with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) and reading drawings, and two years of experience with inspection equipment like micrometers and calipers. Technical Skills: Familiarity with machined parts, sheet metal, powder coating, and welding is necessary. Preferred Qualifications * Three or more years of quality experience in manufacturing environments. * Experience operating high-tech inspection equipment such as optical comparators and CMMs. * Experience with the inspection of 3D printed components. * A technical certification or vocational training in quality inspection or metrology. * Experience in contract manufacturing or high-mix production environments. * ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or a similar certification. ## Description A manufacturing services entity seeks a Quality Assurance Technician I to conduct inspections of machined, sheet metal, and 3D printed components. The role involves performing quality inspections, supporting the disposition of nonconforming products, and assisting with quality improvement initiatives.
