Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience working in a cross-functional environment. Experience with requirements traceability matrix management Experience with airworthiness methodology and criteria. Experience with MIL-STD 516C criteria. Able to apply Systems Engineering principles, tools, and techniques to the Design, Technical Documents, Testing, and Certification of aircraft. Preferred Skills: Experience in leading teams or projects Experience with Engineering, Modifications, Proposal development, and Contracts. Previous experience working in an aircraft modification environment or with Supplemental Type Certification (STC) Has good understanding of 14 CFR Part 25 regulations Able to apply MBSE Ability to travel domestically & international up to 10% of the time ## Description The C-17 SEIT team is seeking innovative, enthusiastic, and highly collaborative individuals with a strong curiosity for exploring design and architecture details. As an Associate or Mid-Level C-17 Systems Engineer, you will support the C-17 airplane programs, with a focus on services and modernization efforts. In this role, you will contribute to the successful integration of design changes across the fleet by supporting airworthiness activities, technical documentation, and certification efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in engineering principles, a working understanding of certification and compliance processes, and strong written and verbal communication skills. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative engineering environment, taking initiative, and helping coordinate technical efforts across multiple functions.
