## About the Role

We are seeking a Certification Specialist to join our Support Center team in New York who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and thrives within a deadline driven schedule. Certification Specialists are responsible for agency reporting, processing move-ins and recertification's, sending out notices, monitoring resident accounts, and more. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver with strong time management skills and a positive attitude.

This is a remote position based in the State of New York with a hybrid-based model.

You Have:

 * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
 * Experience with low income housing, specifically HUD Section 8 and/or LIHTC
 * Tax Credit Experience
 * Experience with Onesite Property management software or similar
 * Demonstrated knowledge of HUD and LIHTC program regulations, up to and including HOTMA
 * Current Compliance certification preferred
 * Excellent communication skills
 * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
 * Exceptional organizational skills
 * Demonstrated ability to work independently
