Strong experience supporting Cisco networking environments including routers and switches. Experience administering and troubleshooting Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls. Experience with Aruba switching and/or wireless infrastructure. Strong routing and switching background with hands-on experience supporting: OSPF BGP Experience configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments. Hands-on experience with cabling, fiber optics, patch panels, and physical network infrastructure. Experience supporting enterprise network incidents, break/fix activities, and ticket-based support environments. Knowledge of firewall rules, NAT, VPNs, ACLs, and network security best practices. Ability to perform basic data center networking tasks including hardware installations and switch deployments. CCNA or CCNP certification required. Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience with NetBrain for network mapping, automation, and troubleshooting. Experience with Nagios network monitoring and alerting. Exposure to SD-WAN technologies. Experience with network segmentation and security initiatives. Knowledge of Cisco Nexus or data center switching environments. Experience with wireless networking technologies and controllers. Familiarity with manufacturing, healthcare, or large enterprise environments. Experience creating or maintaining network diagrams and technical documentation. Understanding of network performance monitoring and capacity planning. ## Description Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 network support in an enterprise environment, handling daily ticket queues and break/fix issues related to routing, switching, firewalls, and connectivity. Troubleshoot and maintain Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Aruba network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and data center environments. Configure, monitor, and support Layer 2/Layer 3 networking including VLANs, STP, OSPF, and BGP routing protocols. Perform switch and firewall provisioning, configuration changes, policy updates, and firmware upgrades. Support network moves, adds, and changes including cabling, fiber installations, patching, and connectivity troubleshooting. Assist with data center network operations including switch deployments, rack-and-stack activities, fiber cross-connects, and network equipment replacements. Respond to network incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to restore services quickly. Work with monitoring tools and ticketing systems to proactively identify and resolve network performance issues. Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards.
