## About the Role

At least 4 years of experience in a Product Design role
At least 4 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
At least 4 years of experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners
At least 4 years of experience working with an established design system
Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces

## Description

Support systems of record for model development process and lifecycle
In their system, users will govern the models developed for credit decisions
Team of 3 designers that report to her, work closely with product and tech partners meeting with them daily
Attend standup with dedicated teams, include designers, product parter and tech on blockers, challenges, game plan for day
Work primarily in Figma, has some research support but would like user research experience
Redesigning legacy system, remaining what they would look like in new system, works with policy partners on workflows
End to end product design development process, research through production
Work cross functionally, moving towards pod model of working closely with partners
Guidance and framework on the product now, all in Figma
Design system experience is a nice to have
There's an internal design system they use now, will layer on top of it, patterns already designed in the system
Doesn't need to have financial/banking background
Open to seeing candidates also subbed to Gregs req, will be looking at both pools of candidates most likely
Interview:
Likely 1 hour round, walking through portfolio and case studies
Job Description: User Experience Designer

Product Design Expertise: Leverage deep expertise in product design and skills across interaction, visual and service design. Collaborate with cross-functional partners, use appropriate tools, platforms, frameworks and design systems and work with teams to create artifacts that may include journey maps, blueprints, high-fidelity designs and prototypes
Human-Centered: Champion the customer through the design process, leveraging critical-thinking skills that factor in data, research insights, scalability, tech constraints and feedback
Business-Focused: Understand and apply business and customer strategy, facilitate design process activities with team and partners, negotiating customer needs and business goals for harmonious outcomes
Problem-Solving: Understand of the potential of tech and data capabilities and emerging technologies and use this knowledge to inform work and help your team navigate technical limitations
Communication: Present work to audiences across levels and job functions using a human-centered approach that integrates design frameworks, data and research insights to effectively articulate insights and design decisions.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating their process, results, and impact.
