12+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS solutions

5+ years leading architecture and development of complex enterprise applications

Demonstrated expertise in: Enterprise architecture, System integrations, Platform security, Scalability and performance, Application lifecycle management, Platform governance

 * Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required)
 * Salesforce Certified System Architect (required)
 * Must reside and work within the United States
 * Ability to be remote outside of the Washington DC area, must be able to work during EST business hours
 * Must be able to travel up to 10% travel may be required, including occasional meetings in the Washington, DC metro area, * Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government agencies
 * Experience leading large-scale Salesforce modernization programs
 * Knowledge of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements
 * Experience with DevSecOps, API-led integrations, and cloud-native architectures
 * Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or pursuit of CTA certification
 * Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Government Cloud implementations
 * Preference for local hybrid ability in the Washington DC metro area

## Description

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting critical federal missions. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and large-scale digital modernization.

As a trusted technical leader, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership to design secure, scalable, and innovative Salesforce-based solutions that drive mission outcomes across the federal government., As a Sr. Salesforce Architect, you will:

 * Work on high-visibility federal transformation initiatives
 * Influence enterprise architecture strategy and solution direction
 * Collaborate with talented architects, engineers, and business leaders
 * Contribute to innovation, thought leadership, and solution development
 * Lead architecture and technical design for complex Salesforce implementations and modernization initiatives
 * Define enterprise solution architectures across Salesforce platforms and integrated technologies
 * Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
 * Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with federal requirements
 * Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight throughout the software development lifecycle
 * Develop integration strategies across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise systems
 * Partner with business stakeholders to translate mission and business requirements into technical solutions
 * Mentor development teams and emerging architects
 * Support proposal efforts, solution development, innovation initiatives, and technology strategy discussions
 * Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements
