## About the Role

* 10+ years of experience developing modern web applications
 * 5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience
 * Strong hands-on experience with Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks
 * Experience building scalable web applications and leading technical design discussions
 * Experience with Node.js and Express (NestJS is a plus)
 * Strong understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture
 * Knowledge of secure web development best practices
 * Cloud technologies experience (cloud security is a plus)
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required (Master's preferred)

* Lead, mentor, hire, and grow a high-performing UI engineering team
 * Drive technical architecture, engineering strategy, and product direction
 * Participate in code reviews and contribute hands-on to the codebase when needed
 * Partner closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, customer-facing applications
 * Collaborate with backend teams to build modern web applications and API-driven experiences
 * Lead technical design discussions and establish engineering best practices
 * Improve engineering processes, team workflows, and development standards
 * Own projects from architecture through delivery in a distributed engineering environment
 * Communicate effectively across engineering, product, and leadership teams
