Demonstrated experience working with enterprise scale data processing applications and batch systems Strong hands on experience with Java (11/17) and the Spring ecosystem, especially Spring Batch. Solid understanding of SQL, relational database concepts, and experience working with large datasets. Practical experience deploying and running workloads on AWS. 1+ years of Python experience. Familiarity with DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions). Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and basic shell scripting. Strong debugging, problem solving, and production support skills. Experience with Control M or similar scheduling/orchestration tools. Experience with Collibra is a plus. Your future duties and responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance data focused batch applications using Java and Spring Batch. Build job steps, processors, tasklets, error handling logic, restartability, and performance tuning. Integrate batch jobs with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL for ETL and data transformation workflows. Deploy, execute, and support batch workloads in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS). Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD deployment and operational readiness. Participate in production support, troubleshoot job failures, analyze logs, and optimize runtime behavior. Work with enterprise scheduling tools such as Control M (preferred). Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
