Demonstrated expertise in creating visually compelling, brand-driven digital experiences with a strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, accessibility, and design systems. * Experience developing page layouts, interface design, branding, presentations, iconography, and production-ready creative assets. * Must present a portfolio that demonstrates excellence in visual design, digital craftsmanship, brand expression, and user-centered design; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, contributing from the Universal City office a minimum of four days per week., * Demonstrated success designing visually compelling digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging digital platforms, from concept through production. * Exceptional visual design, branding, typography, layout, composition, color theory, iconography, and interface design skills with a strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and interaction design. * Proven ability to translate business goals, brand standards, and user needs into engaging, intuitive, and high-quality digital experiences. * Experience designing and evolving design systems, UI component libraries, style guides, and reusable creative assets that support consistency across digital products. * Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in visual design, digital craftsmanship, brand identity, presentation design, and user-centered digital experiences. * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, Engineering, Marketing, Content Strategy, and Brand to deliver scalable design solutions. * Working knowledge of the user-centered design process, including research synthesis, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and iterative design. * Experience creating production-ready assets and collaborating with development teams to ensure design quality and implementation fidelity. * Ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail, managing projects from creative exploration through final execution. * Passion for creating accessible, inclusive, and engaging guest experiences that reflect Universal's brand. * Comfortable working in Agile environments and adapting to evolving priorities. * Positive attitude, curiosity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning. * Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma; experience with prototyping and presentation tools is preferred. ## Description The Senior Designer (Visual Design - UXUI) role is a core member of the Global UXUI Experience Design team at Universal Destinations & Experiences. This role is responsible for creating visually compelling, brand-driven digital experiences that elevate guest engagement across web, mobile, and emerging digital platforms.
