## About the Role

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to be considered., * Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience applying cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices

 * Must have a DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification (e.g., CASP+, CCNP Security)

 * Able to work independently with limited oversight

 * Experience leading small teams, strategic planning and mentoring junior staff

 * Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance

 * Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

## Description

* Responsible for leading the implementation of secure coding practices and the overall security posture of all applications.

 * Provides cybersecurity leadership and oversight for all contract activities.

 * Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures.

 * Coordinate with Government cybersecurity teams and ensure compliance with all applicable security framework and regulations.

 * Oversee security testing, vulnerability management, and incident response activities.

 * Mentors' cybersecurity staff and promote security awareness across the contractor team.
