## Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Scrum Master to be responsible for one or more Scrum teams. The successful candidate will coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage dependencies, provide visibility into team delivery plans, and enable continuous improvement. This role also involves delivery management and oversight support for key projects within the IT portfolio.
Responsibilities:

 * Act as a servant leader to your teams and help resolve impediments
 * Coach the team to achieve sprint goals and sprint timelines, driving adherence to the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
 * Schedule, facilitate, and coach agile routines and ceremonies including Sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and PI planning
 * In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (e.g., Pre-planning preparation, PI planning events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums
 * Enable the team to become high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement
 * Drive the agile team maturity
 * Provide delivery management for key deliverables
 * Leverage business analyst experience to drive the understanding of business needs and analyze the best solutions by building close relationships with business partners
