## About the Role

* High school diploma or GED and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 * Previous electronics testing experience preferred
 * Must have a broad understanding of computer repair/assembly.
 * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, wiring schematics, and procedure manuals
 * Adept at problem-solving and troubleshooting computer hardware and or software-related issues

## Description

The System Repair Technician is responsible for receiving, inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and processing returned products. This role ensures products are accurately evaluated and repaired while maintaining a clean, organized work area and an inventory of replacement parts for both current and legacy product lines., * Prioritize activities independently based on legacy and current product repair inventory, internal and external customer needs, and the queue of returned products awaiting processing.

 * Perform diagnostic testing on mechanical and electronic equipment, including but not limited to controllers, and other components as needed.
 * Repair, scrap, or accept products "as is" after diagnostic testing and root-cause analysis.
 * Create and send itemized invoices for repair work.
 * Quickly and accurately update CRM records in accordance with company processes
 * Research and obtain necessary equipment specifications, test procedures, diagnostic information, and any required documents and guides for processing.
 * Perform equipment hardware and software configurations independently as needed.
 * Catalog and inventory all products returned for repair while maintaining a clean, well-organized, and efficient work area.
 * Maintain an inventory of standard replacement parts and submit purchase requisitions to ensure minimum inventory levels are stocked.
 * Lead standard and project-specific work groups as needed.
 * Follow all safety and ESD procedures to ensure personal and product safety.
 * Align performance with assigned KPI goals, both individually and for the team.
 * Perform additional duties as assigned.
