Operating one of the largest retail technology ecosystems in the country, our client supports millions of daily transactions across stores, digital platforms, and supply chain operations. This role provides additional engineering capacity to support the archival and retention of entire mainframe footprints in alignment with SOX and retention compliance standards. The engineer will play a critical role in modernizing legacy data systems and ensuring long-term data integrity for one of the nation''s most recognized retailers., The Engineer - Data Migration and Archival Solutions will focus on migrating and retaining mainframe data, including DB2, files, and reports, while producing technical runbooks that support portfolio-wide requirements. This position is part of the JVM Stack engineering core and requires close collaboration with the client''s internal technology team to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions.
