Success Criteria: These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position. Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications. * Demonstrated current technical knowledge of Diesel Service Technology * Demonstrated proficiency using basic technology (for example updating an Excel spreadsheet, Word and email.) * Remains current in the field and demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development. * Knowledge of and commitment to a culture of safety. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Experience working in a culturally diverse environment Preferred Qualifications: * Recent training experience, particularly as a mentor in a diesel repair facility ## Description We are seeking a dedicated full-time Instructional Support Technician IV to join our team at the Rock Creek campus. This role is pivotal to the success of our Diesel Service Technology program, where you will provide critical support to our instructional team, mentor the next generation of industry technicians, and foster the development of student talent. You will play a vital role in our program's mission to advance workforce readiness by maintaining high-quality lab experiences, facilitating hands-on learning, and directly contributing to broader industry employment goals. Scope of Work: Under the technical direction of one or more members of the faculty or an instructional administrator, maintains shop equipment, machines, tools, toolroom, prepares laboratories and classrooms for instructors; participates in the delivery of the actual instruction and provides student supervision, assistance and evaluation and/or has been assigned lead responsibilities over classified staff.
