You can look across a business and spot where a unit of effort returns an order of magnitude in value. * Baseline technical fluency. You're comfortable reading API docs, drafting PRDs, and stitching together internal tooling (including AI-powered workflows) without waiting on engineering for every step. * Clear linear thinking and writing. You can take large amounts of messy, imperfect information and turn it into a logical plan that others can act on. * Empathy and strong listening skills. You can hear the "so what" behind the pain your internal customers articulate, and translate it into the right thing to build. ## Description * Own Miter's internal product roadmap. Look across the business, identify the highest-leverage opportunities to improve how we operate, and design the systems to capture them, in close partnership with engineering. * Embed deeply with CX. Use AI, data, and internal tooling to remove friction and speed up execution where fragmented information and manual processes slow teams down. * Own core internal systems and data infrastructure. Make sure customer context, key metrics, and workflows are connected across tools, and accessible to the people (and agents) who need them. * Drive cross-functional projects through influence. Translate ambiguity into clear PRDs, oversee engineers via indirect reporting lines, and earn the trust of the internal teams you serve. ## Related Videos - [Beyond Dashboards: Fixing Text-to-SQL with Semantic RAG](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2036-beyond-dashboards-fixing-text-to-sql-with-semantic-rag) - [Edit Your Future: Queerverse Radical AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/909-edit-your-future-queerverse-radical-ai) - [Rest API Antipatterns](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100208-rest-api-antipatterns) - [AI Driven Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100340-ai-driven-development) - [Swapping a Data Warehouse at Runtime: Zero-Downtime Migration Without Changing a Single Client](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100311-swapping-a-data-warehouse-at-runtime-zero-downtime-migration-without-changing-a-single-client) - [The Intent Engineer: Closing the Gap Between Business & Engineering - Manuel Klein](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1855-the-intent-engineer-closing-the-gap-between-business-engineering-manuel-klein) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Stephan Gillich - Bringing AI Everywhere](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/489-stephan-gillich-bringing-ai-everywhere) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [MLOps – What’s the deal behind it?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/125-mlops-what-s-the-deal-behind-it) - [MLOps And AI Driven Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/82-mlops-and-ai-driven-development) - [Coffee with Developers - Maria Apazoglou - Making AI understandable for all in production](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/475-coffee-with-developers-maria-apazoglou-making-ai-understandable-for-all-in-production)
