## About the Role

* Core Database Administration: Solid experience in database management, object maintenance (tables, indexes, views, schemas), upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance.
 * Performance Tuning & Optimization: Proven ability to troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize database performance and storage utilization.
 * Architecture & Data Modeling: Strong knowledge of logical and physical database architecture, data modeling, ERDs, and schema structures.
 * Security & Continuity: Experience managing database security, access controls, backup/recovery processes, and high availability (HA) configurations.
 * Documentation & Communication: Excellent communication skills to maintain data dictionaries, configuration files, and technical documentation.

Preferred (Bonus Points)

 * Experience supporting large-scale enterprise-level database environments.
 * Familiarity with capacity planning and modern database optimization/monitoring tools.
 * Public Sector / State-level project experience., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration, or a related field is preferred.
