Proficient in Abaqus software. * Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Ability to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications with high accuracy and attention to detail to deliver high quality, compliant results. * Technical Excellence: Brings good mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of engineering principles to solve complex problems effectively. Demonstrates expertise in applying technical knowledge to ensure robust and reliable designs. * Effective Communication & Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively within and across teams and organizational levels. Collaborates effectively with team and stakeholders and able to maintain composure and flexibility under pressure. * Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. * Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Top Candidates Will Also Have: * Master's degree or PhD in engineering in related field. * Progressive experience of general analysis and multiple commercial and non-linear FEA tools (e.g. LS-DYNA, NASTRAN). * Experience with nonlinear material behavior, nonlinear bolted joint analysis, weld/metal fatigue, dynamics, isolation systems, and digital signal processing is highly desired. ## Description As a Senior Performance/Simulation/Application Engineer , you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and validating ROPS and FOPS structures for heavy construction equipment. You will use advanced finite element analysis (FEA) methods to meet structural strength and stiffness, manufacturability, and cost targets. You will work closely with design, test, and analysis teams; support testing and process test data; and build, correlate, and utilize FEA models in support of new product development and field issue resolution.
