* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (must have a car).
 * Proven experience in desktop support and basic network troubleshooting.
 * Understanding of basic networking concepts.
 * Familiarity with Active Directory management.
 * Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

## Description

Alternative Information Systems (AIS) has been a premier WNY IT service firm for 35 years, specializing in the SMB and the Public Sector markets. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled IT Technician to join our team. We provide all levels of IT support to dozens of clients in the WNY area., This is a full-time, onsite position. Normal working hours 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday. Occasional special projects may require working off hours or weekends with compensation., * Install and configure IT devices on customer sites, including server rack equipment.

 * Provide desktop support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
 * Assist with basic network support and troubleshooting.
 * Maintain and support Active Directory and user accounts.
 * Ensure the smooth operation of Windows operating systems across all devices.
 * Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and support workflows.
 * Document and track issues using our ticketing system.
